Rate Results

The Rate experiment evaluates how changes in processing or constraint rates affect overall system performance. By varying selected rate limits, this experiment helps you understand how operating speed influences throughput and efficiency across the model. Use these results to compare alternative rate scenarios, identify sensitivity to specific equipment speeds, and determine where increasing or balancing rates provides the greatest benefit. The table below summarizes the reports that are shown with rate experiments.

Result Description
Summary Shows run data for each run, including the constraint limits and any interrupts dropped for that run.
Rate/Interrupt Efficiency Charts efficiency with varying constraint limits and dropped interrupts.
Rate/Interrupt Production Charts average total with varying constraint limits and dropped interrupts.
Rate/Interrupt Box and Whisker Shows a box and whisker plot representing the range of runs across each limit and interrupt condition. This shows how these changes might impact run variability.
